Experiencing the impact of positive work

I am the Director of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) at Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) and am proud to have been a dietitian for 30 years. My clinical experience focused mainly on Intensive care and Adult Cystic Fibrosis. I was the AHP lead at Royal Papworth Hospital before moving 4 years ago to my post here at CUH.

Visit to India, March/April 2023

The Rama Foundation (RF) trustees Nikin, Priyanka, Matthew and Komilla were able to visit our partner projects in Rishikesh, Haridwar and Dehradun from 29th of March to 5th of April 2023. They were accompanied by our founding member, Mrs Sunita Datta and by their children Mishika, Ruhi and Rohan. Sunita had a longer trip which involved spending time teaching at the Divya Prem Seva Mission (DPSM) school which she thoroughly enjoyed.
 
The trustees had a very enjoyable and successful trip!

Above all else I wanted for my experience of volunteering with Rama Foundation to be a rewarding one not just for those we were supporting, but for myself too. I promised myself that I would maintain a positive mind-set from the offset - as cliché as it may sound I felt this was the driving force behind our accomplishments.
