The RF team loved being back at the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama (RKMS) Charitable Hospital, Haridwar. Dr Priya Patel enjoyed helping with some busy and rewarding gynaecology clinics at RKMS. They now have one full-time and one part-time gynaecologist and have secured £8500 funding for a new digital colposcope & treatment unit which is a huge commitment to women’s health. Priya is helping them to plan their new colposcopy suite which will mean that soon they will be able to diagnose and treat cervical pre-cancer for the first time which is very exciting! RF are giving a donation towards subsidising the colposcopies for the poorest patients. We also gave them the suitcase and bag of gynaecological equipment very kindly donated by London Gynaecology for which they were grateful and will be put to good use.
